About This Practice

Knowing number order is the next step after counting. A short path of numbers hides one of its numbers (like 7, 8, ?, 10, 11): children count along from the left, feel the one-more pattern, and pick the missing number from three choices. Three levels practice 1–10, 10–50 and 50–100 to get ready for counting all the way to 100.

How to Play

  1. Look at the row of numbers and read it from left to right.
  2. Think about what belongs in the ? box, then tap one of the three numbers.
  3. When you're right, the missing number lights up — read the full row aloud.
  4. Tap "New Round" for a new row, or switch between the 1–10, 10–50 and 50–100 levels.
