Counting by tens is the shortcut to 100. Every tap of "Add a bundle" brings a bundle of ten sticks, while a dot hops one step along the number line and calls out the new number: 10, 20, 30… Children see that a few bundles make that many tens, and ten tens make exactly 100. Tap "Take one off" to count backwards too — practice both directions.
