Bar Graphs

Bar heights show the amounts

Loading...

About This Practice

A bar graph turns amounts into heights. Read the data table and tap cells to color each column to the right height: tapping a cell fills the bar straight up to it, and tapping the top cell of the current bar clears it. Higher difficulties use bigger scale steps — read the axis before you tap.

Tap grid cells to build a bar graph: color each column up to the height shown in the data table, and read amounts from the scaled axis. Harder levels use bigger scale steps, so reading the axis really matters.

How to Play

  1. Read the data table and the axis scale: how much does each cell stand for?
  2. Tap the target-height cell in each column to color the bar correctly.
  3. Check the number above each bar against the data.
  4. Press “Check” for per-column ✓/✗ marks; reread the axis and fix red columns.
  5. Made a mistake? Tap the top cell of that column to clear it.
